Recasting The Breakfast Club With Modern Actors

As Kaya Plaka noted in her review, this film "has enough emotion to leave a sweet taste in your mouth without overwhelming you with kitsch." Maybe that's why The Breakfast Club is still discussed and watched. Oddly enough, this is a timeless classic enjoyed by different generations. There has been much debate over whether this classic should be remade. In fact, Judd Nelson and Molly Ringwald, who played John and Claire respectively, said that a remake of The Breakfast Club wouldn't work for different reasons. That being said, The Breakfast Club could have benefited from a remake as the film had some toxic footage.
